Lisa Phillips began writing at age nine, after reading The Secret Garden. Today she is a multi-published, award winning author of paranormal and contemporary romance, as well as mainstream women’s fiction and humorous nonfiction. As a life-long southerner, the traditions, charm and beauty of the South are consistent themes throughout all her novels. She is the mother of two rowdy boys and a member of a large family, which also fuels her stories of loyalty, love and the struggles that can ensue!

“Ms. Phillips’ talent for descriptions drags the reader from their comfy chair and slaps them right into the action.”

  1. It would not let me leave a comment at Shadows site.(i was too late, maybe?) I was going to say:” Lisa is too beautiful to be real, though I know she writes beautifully.” I am going over to Good reads now. Happy for any success that comes your deserved way!

Your new book sounds exciting with a little poker and gamblers in it. I enjoy going to casinos and playing Texas Hold Them and watching people get excited after winning at the slots.

    Looking forward to it.

Lisa, you have some beautiful photos on here, and I am proud (and envious) of your literary accomplishments. It’s not everyday that someone is fortunate enough to have followed their dreams. You are very blessed!

Thank you, Joe! I try every single day to recognize how blessed I am, and be thankful for so many who have inspired me, as well as helped me achieve something I began dreaming about as a little girl. So, if you ever hear anyone say dreams don’t come true, please feel free to tell them I said, “Oh, yes, they most certainly do!”
